General Policies

Who we are. Lwin Medical, PLLC (“Lwin Medical,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates LwinMedical.com and provides medical services and related patient communications.

Purpose of communications. We contact patients to coordinate care (e.g., appointment scheduling, reminders, clinical instructions) and to manage office logistics (e.g., closures, billing notices).

No sale of personal data. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Limited sharing. We may share information only with trusted service providers (e.g., messaging, hosting, EHR, billing) under agreements that restrict use to our instructions, or where required by law.

Not a condition of care. Your consent to receive SMS is not required to receive medical services from us.

Age limits. Our website and SMS program are not intended for individuals under 17. If you believe a child under 17 has provided information, contact us and we will remove it.

Third-party links. Our site may link to third-party sites we don’t control; review their policies independently.

Changes. We may update these terms or policies. Changes take effect when posted on LwinMedical.com.


SMS Terms (A2P Program)

Program Description

By opting in, you agree that Lwin Medical may text you about:

Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders

Annual/periodic health nudges (e.g., “Your yearly physical is due”)

Billing notices (e.g., “Your bill is due”)

Office updates (e.g., closure or hours)

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.

Opt-In

You can consent via our IVR, web forms, intake forms, or by replying “YES”/“START” to our SMS when prompted. We will confirm your enrollment by SMS.

Opt-Out

Text STOP at any time to unsubscribe from non-essential texts. You’ll receive a confirmation, and we will stop sending further SMS (except messages permitted or required by law, such as certain critical service notices).

Rates & Carrier Disclosures

We use cookies and marketing pixels (e.g., from platforms like Facebook/Instagram, X, YouTube) to measure site usage and advertise directly to patients and site visitors.

Communications data

Records of your interactions with our SMS/voice/portal systems (e.g., opt-ins, opt-outs, reminders sent).

How We Use Information

To deliver and improve patient services and operations (scheduling, reminders, updates).

To send SMS noted above (e.g., annual physical reminder, billing due, appointment reminders).
